FERTILITY: TRYING TO CONCEIVE education resources
If you are reading this article, chances are you or someone you know is trying to conceive and facing challenges. Maybe you’ve taken to scrolling google endlessly trying to find an answer, reading other people’s experiences on reddit threads, and possibly feeling like you’re sinking further into a funnel of uncertainty while seemingly everyone around you is pregnant all of a sudden. It’s a lot. I get it.
Here's the thing: a lot of information on the internet is inaccurate or misfitting for your unique situation, especially pertaining to fertility. If you are able to work with a fertility specialist, you likely have very limited time with them to ask all your questions. So, where do you get quality information without the endless and depressing google scroll? That’s what this blog will cover. Fertility education that is accurate, accessible, and trustworthy is available. Let me tell you where to find it.
First, there are a couple of board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologists (the Dr. you want to see if you are pursuing fertility support) who have created robust YouTube channels with tons of short, accessible videos on a wide range of fertility issues. The information is comprehensive and digestible. Yay, the internet can be so helpful when you find the right resource!
The top Fertility Specialists that I would suggest for information are Dr. Lora Shahine from PNW Fertility in Seattle, WA and Dr. Natalie Crawford from Fora Fertility in Austin, TX. Both have YouTube channels with expert information and their clinics are both top notch for the cities they serve. Here are links to their channels and clinics:
Another excellent platform for education, support groups, and resources regarding fertility is Resolve. Resolve is the national infertility association and has a list of trusted providers as well as support networks that can be so valuable if you are having trouble conceiving. The New England branch of Resolve has recently become All Paths Family Building and I’d also recommend them if you live in New England. Links to both are below:

There are a number of other resources on my website that you could visit here if these don’t get you off on the fight foot but for the purpose of brevity, this is where I send all of my fertility clients when they are starting out on their fertility path. My hope is that it is a solid foundation for your journey and gets you the resources you deserve. I wish you all the best in your process!
